This product is 100% pure essential oil of Santalum spicatum (The Sandalwood Shop).
Steam distilled from small chips of the oil-bearing heartwood (the centre of the Sandalwood trunk), grown in central-western Australia by the government regulated Forest Products Commission. These trees are indigenous to the land, with the assured and sustainable processes in place to protect the trees and supply into the future.
Australian sandalwood has been used for thousands of years by indigenous Australians for its various therapeutic benefits. Some research has shown that using Sandalwood oil in aromatherapy can mitigate anxiety and enhance relaxation.
